CHEMICAL LABORATORIES

quipped with emission spectrophotometer, for the performance of chemical analysis of treated alloys, for prime material and heat check
MECHANICAL TESTING

ensile and hardness testing can be performed, the latter also with portable equipments.
ELECTRICAL CONDUCTANCE MEASUREMENT
T
here is an eddy current equipment, for conductivity measurement.
HYDRO TESTING
P
roduced casting can be tested up to 50 bar pressure.
PNEUMATIC TESTING
T
here is a plant for the pneumatic leak testing of castings. Items are immersed in an on purpose plant with transparent water tank, while are maintained under pressure with compressed air.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE EXAMINATIONS
L
aboratories are equipped for the performance of colour contrast water washable liquid penetrants and contact probe ultrasonic methods. Radiographic examinations are performed at other laboratories. Operators and technical staff are qualified at various levels for methods used in the company.
METALLOGRAPHY
T
he company performs metallographic examinations, under the surveillance of a level 3 expert in metallographic methods.
BALANCING
A
vertical machine is available for static and dynamic balancing of items, equipped with mill for machining
balancing indentations.
DIMENSIONAL CHECKS
A
re performed also in controlled temperature rooms, equipped with various dimensional measurement instruments, as gauges, micrometers, plugs and forks. For thickness measurement there is also available an ultrasonic equipment.
MARKING
It is used a portable dot marking device for items with finished surfaces, operated by a computerized system, that allows the placing of any marking or logo required by customer.
